Hotel KTM 4 nights
Day 01: Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu, sightseeing
Day 03: Fly to Lukla,2850 m have lunch, and trek to Phakding, 2650 m. (3 hrs)
Day 04: Trek to Monjo, 2835 m,   lunch and walk to the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale,2775 m.   After checking your trekking permit cross the river twice and trek steep up to Namche Bazaar, 3440 m.  (5 hrs)

Day 05:

Starting from Namche Bazaar straight up to Syangboche airport. Crossing the runway, you can already see the Stupa marking the trail to Khumjung, 3790 m.  From the top of this crossing you can see clearly Everest and Lhotse. Now down again to the famous Khumjung high school and walk through the village. (2 hrs)

Day 06:

Acclimatization day in Khumjung. Visit to the Kunde hospital and the Khumjung Monastery with the Yeti Scalp.

Day 07:

Outside the village, near the Stupa, slightly down through the fields where you can see many birds. Then at your choice, or straight up on a small path to the top of the ridge, or going more smoothly round to Mong-La.3973 m (2 hrs).Have a rest and a drink in one of the small tea shops, and then steep down to Phortse Tenga, 3645 m. Overnight near the river.

Day 08:

Trek to Dole. A good trail goes up to this pasture where most of the time a lot of yaks can be seen.

Day 09:

Trek to Machermo, 4410 m. There are fewer up and downs, so walking is relatively easy. Overnight near a small river.

Day 10:

Trek to Gokyo, 4750 m.   Probably the most beautiful lakes of the Everest area. Enjoy walking up the pastures and the ridge near the glacier.

Day 11:

Gokyo LakeVery early morning, and if possible starting around 4.30 hrs, up to Gokyo Ri. The view from the 5,483 m height Gokyo Ri could be even a better than the view from Kala Patter. You can see Cho Oyu, Everest, Ngojumba Kang, Gyachung Kang, Nuptse, Lhotse and Makalu. The scene of an ablation valley holding three glacial lakes van be viewed here. After this magnificent experience, trek back to Machermo.

Day 12:

Trek down to Phortse Tanga, have lunch, and steep up to Mong La. After taking a refreshment, down to Khumjung.

Day 13:

Trek steep down to Namche Bazaar, to Monjo, and have lunch. After lunch trek to Phakding Monastery, walking through a real old Sherpa village. Overnight at Phakding.

Day 14:

Your last day trek to Lukla, smoothly but steadily up to the airport. Make ready to fly out next day.

Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu.
Day 16: Kathmandu, free day.
Day 17: Departure.
