Day 01: Flight from Kathmandu to Lukha-Chaunrin Kharka and traverse into the Dudh Kosi Valley to Phakding (2550m) 3 hours walk and camp near the river.
Day 02: walk upstream to the Benkar crossing the Dudh Kosi and continue on the eastern bank to Jorsale (2800m), cross again western bank for lunch (1/2 hour) There is the confluence of two rivers the western valley comes from Nangpa La from Tibet and eastern valley from Imjakhola - Gokyo. Walking steeply to Namche Bazaar the main trading village of Khumbu Region.
Day 03: After 2 hours walk from Namche Bazaar to Khumjung (3800m) best place for acclimatization; passing the airstrip of Japanese Everest Hotel which is at the highest point in the world. A visit to Gompa and big Sherpa houses in Khumjung At Khunde a hospital built by Sir Edmund Hillary incase of altitude sickness.
Day 04: Traverse the slopes east wards to big Chorten (3873m) on the trail Khumjung to Phortse and Lunch before the bridge. In the afternoon, passing the summer pasture of Tongba, Gyele and Dole; to Luza (4350m) From, here you can climb Luza Peak (5600m) and glacier (East and north).
Day 05: walking four hours from Luza you reach to Gokyo; situated at the upper of three moraine Lakes - west of Ngozumpa glacier, Gokyo is a summer pasture in a splendid location of Cho Oyu, and rest for acclimatization.
Day 06: Climb easily, crossing the South Peak to the northern main peak this easy climb leads to one of the best view points of the whole Nepal Himalaya. the Nepalese and Tibetan faces of Mount Everest and the greatest glacier of Nepal just below your feet.
Day 07: Day of rest or for good climbers - to the White Peak (5600m) situated north-west of Gokyo very long but fascinating climb and not very difficult.
An early start from Gokyo is necessary, northwards along the foot of the lateral moraine of Ngozumpa glacier to of Ngozumpa glacier to the Ngozumpa lake. At its upper end traverse to the left below the summit of 537 m to the end of the glacier, which flows down from white Peak. The upper part is steep but not difficult (6-7 hours) from Gokyo in favourable conditions and after good acclimatization you need a high camp at the end of the glacier. Return the same - way back to Namche Bazaar.
