This Tibetan border region behind the main range was unknown. Up to how only few scientists and some expeditions have come to this remote highland with the highest settlements. You cross 6 passes of more than 5000m and often you will meet nobody for days.

Day 01: take a flight to Jumla from Kathmandu or from Surkhet start from Jumla downstream along the Chaudhabise Khola to Churta a new settlement of Tibetan refugees where you have mountaineering possibilities in the Jagdula mountains.

Day 02: walk from Churta crossing the beautiful wooded Leti Lagan pass (3380m) or walk from Taiphi southeastwards aSlong the Patalkot Khola to Churta.

Day 03: walk to Kaigaon camp near the pass good view of early morning Either walk southeastwards along the main valley to the Barbaria Lagna (4270m) continue directly to Hurikot or southwards crossing the Mauria Lagha (3930m) to Chanurikot (3050 m) Rimi (2900m), Kaigaon (2650m) Jagdula Khola beyond Hurikot.

Day 04: from Hurikot upstream along the jagdula Khola which drains the southern side of Kanjiroba Himal to the junction where you go to right continuing along the Garpung Khola, camp below the pass at 4000m.

Day 05: start steeply straight up to the Kagmara pass (5114m) marked to a cairn and prayer flags; from eastwards on snow, later northwards of the kanchauni Lekh (6443m) camp on the first summer pasture (4250m)

Day 06: eastwards towards the sharp ridges of Kanjeroba, continue southeastwards into the Pugmi Khola camp near this village at (3200m).

Day 07: walk downstream to the confluence of the Pugmi Khola and the Bauli Gad (3050) passing palam a steep slope at the left of the water fall to Ringmo (3610m) at the Phoksumdo Lake situated below the Kanjeroba ice-slopes. A path Leads from Ringmo along the Lake to the "unknown valley with mountaineering possibilities and further over the Gand La (5285m) to the northern Dalpo and Shey Gompo, the main monastery of Dalpo (only with permit)

Day 08: from ringmo slightly southwards and traverse eastwards to Manduwakhola follows a junction by a bridge leading southwards to a side valley. Continuing in this valley you may climb from a high camp Peak of the Kang Taiga keep to the left in the upper valley down to the high valley coming from the Norbu Kang camp near the river.

Day 09: continue down stream to do (4090m) beautiful Gompa the main village of Tarap walk to eastwards to the Pang khola and along the river to the beginning of the pass ascent.

Day 10: first northwards, on trail traces the eastern side of the river flowing down westwards to the Phoksumdo Lake. The trail branching off and leading north to saldang (northern Dalpo), continue to eastwards along the side valley to the Numa La pass (5450m). you will have good view of Dalpo mountains. On the eastern side to the Tarap Valley (Tibetan Culture and many Gompas) camp at Thakyu (4200m). Several passes lead to the northern Dalpo (Saldang Tinkyou and Tibet).

Day 11: continue to Charka crossing two passes northern wards from the camp. to the first pass (5430m) The upper Panzang Chu one of the headwaters of Karnali which drains the northern Dolpo. the landscape opens widely to the typical Tibetan highland Character. North of the pass Dugun Kang (6060m) you could have a splindid view of Tibet.

Day 12: crossing the pass to the souther wards of the Barbung Khola, Dhaula II (7750m) III (7715m) Camp at Charka which is like an enthroned fortres above the Barbung Khola.

Day 13: walk upstream along the Barbung Khola later southwards to Nakhkem Khola coming from the east (Trail from Mustang) To the junction with the Mu La trail, camp at west of the Sangda La pass on summer pastures (use Yak dung for fire)

Day 14: Continue to the Sangda La pass and either along the steep Chu Lungpa gorge. Go the upper but safer northern route to sangda and Kali Gandaki to Jomosom. (Fly to Pokhara or Kathmandu).

Day 15: walking down to Dama Eighteen to Birethanti to Pokhara.
